Godello is a spanish vine varietal of white grapes. It is native from El Bierzo and Galicia and in particular the areas surrounding the Sil River. It has bunches of average size and dense.

The grapes are medium in size and with a yellowish-green color. It has a grape of high quality and very aromatic. It produces balanced wines with an alcoholic content of around 12.5% and pale yellow color; clear fruity and floral aromas (apple).

It is the main variety in the C.R.D.O. Bierzo and Valdeorras.
