Tasting of our wines
This wine tourism experience in El Bierzo is designed for anyone who wants to delve into the philosophy of Bodega del Abad and immerse themselves in the entire winemaking process, from the reception of the grapes to the moment it reaches our glass and awakens the senses.

Monastery
Santa María de Carracedo
Benedictine monastery founded by Bermudo II “The Gouty” in the year 990. It had great political, religious, and economic power, exercising jurisdiction over other monasteries in Galicia, Asturias, and León. Restored in the 12th century, it has a succession of architectural styles: Romanesque transition of the primitive church of 1138, Gothic of the Queen’s Viewpoint, or Renaissance in what corresponds to the cloister, the refectory, and the sacristy. It is located in Carracedo del Monasterio, municipality of Carracedelo, in the region of El Bierzo a few meters from our winery.
