From our corner of El Bierzo, in Carracedelo, we will show you our winery and its surroundings, as well as the wine tourism activities we offer, and, of course, our wines and everything that surrounds them.
We meticulously care for every step of our wine production process, which culminates in your tasting, and we want you to join us throughout it. Pruning, harvesting, fermentation, pressing, aging… In addition to the effort and care we put into each of these moments, it is essential to consider that each step has its own characteristics and objectives to achieve high-quality wines in every vintage. We know this and apply it, but now we also want you to be part of it, feeling the wine even more as your own.

Bodegas del Abad began its journey with the planting of vines in 2000, although we did not inaugurate it until 2003, when its construction was completed. We produce our red and white wines by harvesting and working with the two great Bierzo grapes: the red Mencía and the white Godello.
