Carracedelo’s Medieval Festival turns 16, coinciding with the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the declaration of the Monastery of Carracedo as a National Monument. The monastery itself will host the events, which begin on Wednesday the 6th at 10:00 PM with the Monastic Night and culminate on Saturday the 9th. There will be no shortage of living chess, storytelling, the “Abbot’s Way”, and the traditional dinner at the monastery.
