Cacabelos’ Plaza Mayor will reassert its status as the capital of Bierzo wines between the 13th and 15th of this month for the celebration of the nineteenth edition of the Bierzo Wine Fair.
In addition to the wine fair, six restaurants will also gather in the vicinity of the Plaza Mayor, offering their gastronomic selection of pinchos. “Unlike last year, and at the restaurants’ own request, the price of the pinchos will be flexible on this occasion, as they were previously limited by price, which hindered the presentation of more innovative or different options,” according to Canedo.
Regarding prices, the ticket for five young wines also sees a slight increase, rising from four euros for five wines last year to five euros for five wines this year. Alongside this five-wine pack, tickets will also be available for oak-aged and barrel-aged white wines at 1.5 euros, Crianza wines at two euros, and Reserva and Gran Reserva wines at 2.5 euros.
