A superb Mencía, boasting excellent complexity and the virtue of preserving the grape’s authentic character. This particular vineyard reveals characteristics rarely found in other parts of the region.
It reveals a floral profile, reminiscent of lavender, along with a distinctive touch of Bierzo’s terroir: wet slate and peat. A very fine spicy note accompanies fruit aromas such as blackberry, strawberry, and plum. On the palate, it is perceived as vibrant, long, elegant, and fresh.
